“Don’t ask what the world needs, ask what makes you come alive because what the world needs is people who have come alive!” –Dr. Joe Vitale
I often have that saying bouncing around my cerebellum. I don’t exactly remember which of Joe Vitale’s programs I heard that from but it has stuck with me. Too often people struggle to figure out life by asking the wrong questions. What I mean is that they are focused on asking questions that don’t really bring about change in their lives which then brings about change to the world.
For example; Often we hear people ask, “What is wrong with the world today?” Or, “What do we need to do to cause change in the world?” Or, “What needs to happen for people to wake up?” Or, “What is wrong with people!?” These type of questions will hardly ever bring about real answers followed by real change.
What most people don’t realize is that we are not humans born with a soul which must be returned once our bodies die. Rather, we are eternal souls having a human experience. You and I have come from eternity and go into eternity. Having said this, we humans have the power to affect each others energy fields according to the energy we hold within ourselves. Meaning that if we hold on to negative energy, others can feel and will feed off of that energy. You may have experienced this phenomenon for yourself. Have you ever had someone rub you wrong? Have you ever looked at a stranger and just felt bad or negative ‘vibes’? Have you had a co-worker, family member, or friend drain your energy because they are so negative?
There are countless other examples I can go into which I won’t because those experiences are very common. The point is that you have proof that our energy fields affect our fellow humans. And you have the personal power and potential to affect your fellow humans in both a negative or positive way. When you start to become passionate about; your life, your job, your mission etc. you change your vibrational frequencies. And those frequencies will start to alter and change ‘reality’.
We humans are like circuits on an electrical board with many light bulbs. If one has a short, it can affect whether or not the bulb next to you will light up. The difference between us and an electric board is that we have the personal power of choice. And at any moment we can decide to ‘light up’. Once you discover your true calling in life, you will be a light which will light the way for others which will cause a change in the world!
So then, what does the world need? It doesn’t need solutions. It only needs people who are passionate. It needs people who are passionate to live their purpose. The world needs people who have come alive!
Peace profound,
Gerardo Flores
